Hallux Valgus Night Bandage is an effective aid for correcting the big toe and treating hallux valgus at night. The splint is made of skin-friendly plastic material and is combined with an adjustable padded Velcro strap that provides both support and comfort. By gently straightening the big toe to its natural position, the splint reduces the risk of bunions and deformations, which helps to improve the structure of the foot over time.
The soft foam pad, placed on the outside of the foot and along the inside of the big toe, provides extra comfort in sensitive areas often affected by hallux valgus. This makes the night splint particularly suitable for people who want to relieve pain and discomfort, as well as prevent further injuries. Thanks to the adjustable Velcro straps, you can customize the fit for optimal stability and comfort throughout the night.
The Hallux Valgus Night Bandage is available in three sizes and fits both the right and left foot, making it flexible and user-friendly. Through regular use at night, the splint helps to gradually correct the position of the big toe, providing a long-term corrective effect. To maximize the effect, it is recommended to start with a gentle adjustment and gradually increase the traction force.
Instructions for use:
- Place the front part of the buckle from the inside over the big toe, so that the wide leather strap lies against the outside of the ball of the foot.
- Place the drawstring over the instep and pull it through the slot in the plastic buckle.
- Using the drawstring, you can now adjust the traction on the big toe. Always start with a setting that is not too tight and then gradually increase the traction so that the big toe's misalignment is corrected.
- Attach the drawstring and Velcro over the footbed.
Washing instructions:
Can be washed at 30° C with a mild detergent (e.g. detergent for delicates) by hand or in a machine. Do not tumble dry. Squeeze out the foam padding slightly and let it dry on its own. Do not place the cover on any heating element.
