Areas of application

BORT AktiVen TREND is recommended for supporting venous function and counteracting circulatory problems in the legs. It can be used preventively and as part of treatment for minor venous problems, such as tired, heavy, or swollen legs after standing or sitting work, during travel or sedentary work, postoperative support as prescribed by a doctor, and at early signs of fluid retention in the lower leg or ankles. It can also be used during pregnancy as a preventive measure against swelling and venous problems, as well as after prolonged inactivity or as support during return to movement.

Not intended for

The stocking is not intended for pronounced arterial circulatory insufficiency, severe skin diseases, infections or open wounds on the legs, cardiac edema in heart failure, or untreated deep vein thrombosis. Use should be in consultation with healthcare professionals if there is uncertainty about diagnosis or circulatory status.

Product specification

Attractive appearance with medical compression effect and an impression similar to opaque stockings. Choose a simple band or a studded silicone band (5 or 2.5 cm). Fine workmanship for high comfort and acceptance, especially pleasant against the skin and helps to avoid tired, heavy legs. Open toe included, including slip-on aid. Packaging: pair.

How to measure

1. Ankle: Measure around the narrowest point just above the ankle bones.
2. Calf: Measure around the widest part of the calf.
3. Below knee: Measure around the leg just below the hollow of the knee.

Tip: If your measurements fall into different columns, choose the size based on the ankle first and ensure that the calf and below knee measurements still fit into the same column.
