Description
The Mediband Articulated Knee Brace is specifically designed to provide increased stability in the event of an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury or general knee instability. With its clever wrap-around design, the knee brace is easy to put on and take off, even if you have difficulty pulling the brace over your foot. The design also allows you to wear the brace over clothing, which is especially practical for winter sports or activities where quick application is needed.
The knee brace is 30 cm long and equipped with articulated splints on both the inside and outside of the knee, which provides extra stability for people with knee problems. It is made of neoprene, a material that provides both warmth and compression, which helps reduce pain and swelling. Adjustable straps with "grip-handles" make it easy to open and close the brace, and ensure that it stays in place without restricting freedom of movement.

Contraindications
- Fractures of the proximal femur or distal tibia and fibula.

Application
Application (see pictures)
- Open the straps with tabs and place the knee support flat, inside facing up with the label visible.
- With the label in your right hand, wrap the top of the knee brace around your thigh, and the bottom of the knee brace around your calf. Close to hold the brace in place, then tighten all straps.
- Tighten all straps so that it is comfortable.
Care instructions
Washing and care instructions
- Close all Velcro fasteners and remove the metal hinges.
- Hand wash the support in cold water with mild detergent.
- Rinse and dry flat.
- Do not centrifuge or tumble dry.
- Never use fabric softener.
- Check for any deterioration that may affect use.
- Regularly check that the Velcro fastener is working securely.
